No I haven't paid them Wulfie, it's one of those schemes paid for by the government for people who have little income. This means they'll get paid anyway. The second pic down is my bedroom, there is a bed underneath all that. 😢 FFS never seen anything so bad.I had an insulation grant years ago.Tape up and sheet all doorways and rooms.Duct out from loft all old fiberglass DANGEROUS insulation with a massive tube direct into skip.Bag up debris.DUSTMASKS.They have rendered your home uninhabitable and dangerous and destroyed all your belongings.if they felt unable to proceed they should not have started work.what company was this?.Get your home insurance assessor ourt immediatly.Lock them out silently,dont have a confrontation.Call police.get all documented asap.You can do much without solicitor.Home insurance assessor and council are free.Police,criminal damage.Iris a good idea.Get money for all agreed.Get skips ready .Work party request here.x |

It looks to me that telling them to fuck off is bolting the door after the horse has bolted. Perhaps it will be better to insist they rectify the problems, after all they won't get paid until you sign off on the job they've done. Make sure they know this.

How can they rectify destroying a persons home?its all contaminated with debris,glass fiber dust and water.its corvus home ,her sanctuary not their trash yard.If they had been locked out, the authorities would get involved and throw the book at them.What they did would end all future contracts with government insulation schemes.No health and safety,no respect.I am setting up an agency,I cant employ you as you are too polite,I need mean hairy horrible males to be faces in situ when tradesmen turn up at womens homes. |

     I've learned that my house is now uninhabitable, seriously. The insulation guys have trashed it comprehensively, throwing stuff out of my boarded out attic into my bedroom, disconnecting all my kitchen appliances and removing electrical sockets. My kitchen floor is swimming in water. Tomorrow they will be told to fuck off. Seriously, I cannot enter any one room in the house safely and just keep crying if I just open the front door. I know that there are all kind of legal recourses, I also know that I am unable emotionally to go down those routes, so however we'll meaning please don't suggest various solicitors /local news/mp whatever, I know what I should do but am unable mentally to do it. I'm only posting here to let out some sorrow. I appreciate you may not be wanting to deal with this for the emotional upset but these people need stopping.Its not just your home they've trashed and rendered you homeless.Quite probable youve firbreglass fibres everywhere and possibly asbestos if its an old house from the roof space(the council are duty bound to home you till its thoroughly decontaminated and its restored to habitable house),but these cowboys will go on to do it to someone else too if theyre doing it for a scheme and most probably to elderly people and powerless to stop them. If theyd even started doing it to my home theyd be wearing their tools internally. Disgusting,they should be taken to court and locked up. |

I see your point Cricket, and it's good. But, what is the quickest way to get Corvus back into her home ? Corvus has already written that she does not feel up to conflict, and getting other parties involved before giving the cowboys a chance to make good might prolong this for ages. Legally, the question "did you give them an opportunity to put it right ?" is asked very often. So, although you are undoubtedly correct, and have the moral high-ground, it might not be the right path this time. PS/ I am a hairy horrible male, being polite as well throws people off guard, they don't expect it. |

I Learn Earlier This New Born Day That Something That Seems So Clear And Simple To Me Just Mind Boggles Other Peeps When I Was Trying To Explain To A Close Friend Of Mine “Why She Should Not Move Backwards In Life As It Has Passed/Been/Done/ Etc Etc .. And That If “She Opens Her Eyes And Mind And Truly Sees”.
