What happened to Valentines day? The old annual state approved 'Find someone to copulate with' day.

Love it but getting one from a butchers is rare so I settle for Mc Sweens. Used to have a stock of Grants tinned haggis, ok, not the same but in the box it cooked up nicely and apart from the wind it was tasty.

What happened to Valentines day? i have never ever ever in my life had a valentines card The whole point was a secret note from an admirer. Its got consumer driven hype behind it now like everything else has. Also the emotional trip if you dont get one means you are not admired?Maybe those that liked you actually said it rather than waste at least £5 for card and postage.

Used to drive a wagon & did Scotch 3 times a week. Always called in a butchers near Dumfries on the way home & usually bought 1/2 a dozen each time. Nowhere to park the truck near his shop so I would ring & tell him I was 5 mins away then he'd be standing by the kerb with my order bagged & ready! Can't ever recall getting service like that in England.....

After haggis, it has to be decent faggots with mash, paes and gravy or liver and onions. All offal and right tasty.
