We would never joke about such a serious thing as your knob, Fly. 😎
I've never been able to cope with loudness of anything, including music. Even as a teen I used to turn the radiogram (remember them?) down as low as it would go. Whereas I love music and always have, I have taken earplugs to live gigs, and used them.

Earplugs at gigs should be practiced by all Maggie,you are one of the wise ones.
I assure you there is nothing serious about my knob,its just a funny looking little sausage really !!

You know you are getting old when you have got state of the art stereo equipment and never turn it up past number 3 !! Do not worry though that is not me. I blame the arthriis for not being able to turn the knob down ( no knob jokes please ) ;-) I think the term stereo is probably a tad dated these days. My stepdaughter laughed at me a couple of weeks back when I said we were going to the pictures. |

I was a huge fan when I lived in somerset but stopped listening to that nearly 20 years ago when I crossed the channel,now that either means that I have gotten younger,or am very old !!!

I listen to the archers as CPD  and hecking excellent it is too! I am glad I am old , the other option is unappealing . |
