A true "You know you are getting old when" story
Driving back from Bristol to London along the M4 in the dark last night, the radio loses the signal (as it does) and the radio starts auto searching for another station. It find one and I drive along listening to it for a while thinking "this is not bad...…"
So I look down to see what station it was, it was SMOOTH!

Had to google that Pete , looks good stuff , though one of their models looks a bit like Rolf Harris which is off putting . I get mail from SAGA on a regular basis , fuck knows where they get there addresses , as the name is correct for me , but the house name was from 30 odd years back. Its handy for lighting the fire though as we don't get any free press round here , and helps keep the postman in a job .

Do not worry though that is not me. I blame the arthriis for not being able to turn the knob down ( no knob jokes please ) ;-)

I've never been able to cope with loudness of anything, including music. Even as a teen I used to turn the radiogram (remember them?) down as low as it would go. Whereas I love music and always have, I have taken earplugs to live gigs, and used them.
