Yet another of Sadiq Khan's ULEZ cameras falls victim to the Blade Runners in Hillingdon, West London—just 36 hours after it was installed.

This is now the sixth camera that has been "retired" in this location alone.

Within London's 'Ultra Low Emission Zone', drivers are charged a daily fee of £12.50 for driving vehicles that don't meet arbitrary "minimum emissions standards", essentially making driving an unaffordable luxury for people who can't afford to buy an expensive electric (or newer model ICE) vehicle, as they struggle to make ends meet already due to runaway inflation, extortionate energy bills and a cost of living crisis.

A group calling itself the "ULEZ Blade Runners" has vowed to remove or disable every last ULEZ camera in London.

I think everyone is - or should be - aware by now that this ULEZ operation from Sadiq Khan was really nothing to do with clean air or a 'greener' London, but everything to do with bringing in a great deal of money as easily as possible under a 'greenwash'.

So all power to those who destroy or immobilise his cameras.

The danger is that hundreds of smaller councils, starved of funding by our present government, are looking at Sadiq Khan's ill-gotten gains with envious interest; and are probably making plans to do the same sort of thing throughout the land...

It was Boris Johnsons plan as PM to extend ULEZ but Khan's been foolish to fall in the trap he set. Other authorities will follow suit because its another big money generator like hospital and airport parking.

Wait till Charter Cities Freeports and SEZs are fully unleashed on us and we'll all be forced by the corporate and private owners of those entities to pay through the nose for everything they can milk while keeping all the income to themselves, enforced by private security and threats of property seizure and compulsory purchase. The path is already set at least for 10 years regardless of whether Selfservatives or Liebour are in power as theyre both signed up to them as are Reform and the SNP Greens in Scotland.

Quite amazing the depths into which the BBC went to investigate this man -quite rightly so - for allegedly scamming financial supporters while it consistently completely ignores the massive fraudulent embezzlement of state funds carried out by various members of the government and close associates.
