12c here in belowda cateract surgery very sucessfull dont need lens on right eye any more mdium to long distance sight good had to take lense out of specs down side tested positive for covid today

Minus 1 this morning, very sunny, crisp day, absolutely lovely. Took my son to the barbers first thing and most of the blokes were in shorts  Lol -15 Might be about time for a vest and longer trousers. You might get snow tomorrow if forecast is vorrect. |

A delivery driver came here ,in shorts last week on a cold set day.I said look at you in shorts,you not cold?reconed it it was easier to dry legs with a towel,and better than sitting in soggy trousers

My young postman wore shorts all year round which i had no objection to of course. Rather see people in shorts than see folks looking like hippos squeezed into grotesque elasticated leggings like some do in supermarket. 🤢

4C now....its about this time of year my mother would say put your vest on its winter now 😱 ..what horrific things string vests are. Youd easily expect the British to have invented the monstrosity but no, it was the Norwegians....shameful.
Thank heavens theyve died away into clothing obscurity.
