 Potato plants have fruit! With the weather being hot, conditions have been good for potatoes to develop their flowers into fruit. The potato is part of the nightshade family, so these fruit are poisonous. |

Once they flower, you take the flowers off the plant and wait for the greenery to wither.
You'll have some new potatoes in the soil now, if you have a ferret about. ☺

Learned today that it is not a good idea to light the stove in my box when it's already warm outside and I want to work in it. A handful of offcuts and some rag, just surprised how hot it got.  |

I learned that if I go on a bus trip with my sister, I'm going to be bored witless watching her shop, and I am also going to end up carrying all the junk she buys. 😂

The flame that burns Twice as bright burns half as long.
Watching a lightning fast kingfisher, a flash of blue amongst the greenery of the riverbank, is a treat I wish everyone could have.

Or 'live fast, die young' The Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching flame proverb was used in Blade Runner. Kingfishers are beautiful and amazing,used to watch them a lot where i grew up. |

That engaging with people you disagree with and dont care much for is precious time wasted.
Oh...and that its more apparent I have little in common with hippy travellers anymore that scene has gone and I need to move on.
