Just got back to my park up after a good days graft and my solar powered table-reading light was in the postbox. It was supposed to be delivered from Amazon tomorrow. Its like the pixar films lamp and it folds down into the palm of your hand with its bendy neck. It can also be charged via usb,so it is on charge now :-) That will be a handy little lamp that will cost nothing to run :-)

I think I have a couple of those. They're good, but not as good as the (now unavailable) Ikea solar lamp. It was the first solar thing I bough.

I am charging it off the laptop and using it at the mo and its the first time in ages that I have been able to see the keyboard of the laptop in the dark without having to light all my roof lights and candles. It is just waht the hipy ordered :-)
Perfect for van life too as not only will I use it to see the keyboard,but will use it for map reading when travelling at night as well as reading and all sorts of things. Happy as the proverbial pig xx
