I normally get wound up with the ages old tradition of the average french person not caring who is behind them in the queue and having a good old natter with the person serving at the till. This morning I must of spent about ten minutes chatting with the guy in the local presse (newsagents) shop with regrads to the france-wales rugby game last saturday. All of the people behind were patient as they know thats how it is here, but I could see thazt the fuckers were getting fidgity and annoyed by our chat. It was lovely to be on the other side of the coin for once and even a couple of hours later writing this I still smile widely at the situation.
What about you lovely people, what has put a smile on your face today,or made you chuckle, chortle or laugh?
Please share your happy moments with us :-)
Love and light

Robins. I forgot to feed them, so one came in and started to poke about on the work surface! They are getting a bit entitled....

got a couple of starlings roosting in the roof, they'll have to be evicted in about a month as the HA are coming to board up the hole. we feed all the wild birds, we have a feeding station in the back garden, the wood pigeons make me laugh.we had 5 of them one day, the little birds come in droves, 20 -25 at a time sometimes, on the feeders or on the ground picking up the bits others dropped. they are our pets I suppose now we no longer have our little dog- 4 years now.

I just took Bruno out for his proper walk. Now a week or so back he was getting quite ill mannered around other dogs, and I was a bit concerned. However, while I’m not used to puppies, I used to train military dogs for a living (long time ago but true story) and as a civilian I’ve also had experience as a dog trainer so I decided to step up his training sessions and he’s also getting longer walks. We have just come back from one where he’s met up with several dogs and people and been a perfect gentleman. It’s put a huge smile on my face. 😊

Starlings carry fleas and every chance you've a flea colony waiting to erupt in the spring. Had them nest in a hole in the garage gableend and that's what happened. Council pestcontroller was most happy as it was a first for him and he even bottled some live ones to take back to the office to show others.

I lost a notebook about a month ago, it is very important to me for a variety of reasons and I searched high and low ever since. Tonight, oh joy, it turned up, naturally it was somewhere I have searched already many, many times.
I don’t care how it got there, I’m overjoyed to have it back. 😁😁😁

just sitting in my truck, burner on rain lashing down outside whilst figuring out the final fit roller blinds or curtains ? tis a hard life It is lovely being sat in a vehicle when the weather is giving it some outside and we are cosy next to our julian burners without a care in the world. I stocked mine up a bit much earlier and was a tad uncomfy at 47 degrees. All my candles looked like they were coming down from a viagra party !!

Not in Iris surprisingly as that is where I used it. In the bedroom in the cottage. 😊🏡🚌
