Working on a non work day..trimming the little pear tree outside the door, she d grown a bit wonky ,so balanced her up a bit so she dosnt topple when she grows bigger..and planning to revamp my doc martin boots, base coat went on ages ago,but the designs in my head are shouting to be let out,so will be loosing myself in that in a bit..lovely easy sunday 😊 I've been polishing up my gifted boots. Not sure if I will end up painting them, they are fairly awesome as they are, but some designs might make them even better. 🙂

I'm wearing a nice pair of boots I got off a skip. They were soaking wet, had to pour water out of them, took weeks to dry out! They don't leak, so that's me good for the winter!

I've always found polishing up comfy old boots quite satisfying, working polish into all the creases and stitching. The best set I had cost me £5 from a stall at Glastonbury festival, where they sold all the stuff that was left there the year before. Someone with more money than sense had left a £140 pair of pro-boots, probably because they were covered in mud. They lasted me for years.

What is cowboy coffee, Harry? strong black coffee with raw sugar so strong you could float a horse shoe in it

Working from home, based in the conservatory means I get a great view over the garden. It's a beautifully sunny day and we have 3 resident squirrels who visit for food who are currently playing chase around the old oak tree...a wonderful distraction.

Just changed the van battery as she has not been holding a charge and it is always a pleasure to know that your vehicle and home will be performing better from this. Also been to the town of rieupeyroux and have stocked up on beer and snacks for the weekends rugby. I only bought 54 bottles of brown beer, hope no one visits :-)
