Just sat down after a good days weeding and have opened a tub of humous and a packet of corn cakes and yum yum bloody yum they are delicious. May of opened a beer too :-)

Working at a house in a little village,next to a small river..absolutely teeming with ducks..the bank is quite steep,so they ve built a concrete duck launching ramp,with little ridges to help them back up again..its the little things that make me smile

My fence post womble went very well . , got some nice corregated iron sheets as well as fencing , and a big pile of bricks I am going back for .

This mornings sunrise taken from near the van. I zoomed in a bit so that you can also see the foothills of the languedoc mountains too :-)
They must be a good 20 miles away,if not further !! The view from where I have parked up and working is great as it is above 600 metres ( 2000 ft ).

Getting back from a very chilly walk and lighting the fire and warming up. Kettle is filled up and shall be ready for a nice cuppa in a few minutes to enjoy with the good book that I am reading.Q uickly popping onto my favourite site between chapters is a simple pleasure too ;-)

Finding an ingenious way to get into ythe uni accommodation site with no fob or anyone about to let us in...as the truck and chipper were sticking out into morning rush hour traffic...got my sidekick to hop out and wheel one of the big biffa bins across the barrier on the inside...yay! It worked😊
