No it's Surrey! Not a real moor, the MOD cleared it years ago for manoeuvres!

Lovely. We are all just doing nice uncomplicated things and Lika is even making money from it,well enough to buy his old crafty hen with :-) Very stormy day here with gale force winds and now heavy rain and this minute I have disapeared into the cloud and its gone very gloomy, but I am sat reading about your pleasures from the comfort of my van and am nice and cosy. Episode of black sails now. Keep up your simple pleasures folks and do keep sharing them as that in turn is a pleasure for others. Keep the vibe alive :-) SNAP! We just started re watching Black Sails last night....👍☺

I was just going to ask you what doc martin boots were as I was thinking of bloody martin clunes !! Just I was about to respond I remembered my 22 holers from 35 years ago and knew what you were on about ! I was quite confused for a moment and wondered if you had any vicar of dibley trousers or an only fools and horses jacket :-)

Doc Martens are good boots, I still have a pair, I had a pair back along that lasted 12 years and I was wearing them all day every day.

They were not bad boots, but the german parra boots that I had were far superiour.
I wore them everywhere including at the raves in the ninties, then one day a friend gave me some top quality trainers as a thank you for helping him sort out his relationship then all of a sudden I could dance like a pro. Nowadays I refer to use good quality hiking boots with goretex skin and vibram soles as they really do act as shock absorbers and if you are spending lots of time in the mountains like what do,the vibram technology takes lots of pressure of your knees. Not cheap, but money well spent. Bit like good tyres :-)

Very wise. It makes me cringe when I see someone belting down the road on a bike in a t-shirt and trainers. Hopefully they will not learn the hard way :-)
