If you have a dog you must feed it Whether everybody should have the automatic right to own a dog is a different issue I am not the best at sticking to the rules but when the rules are so clearly based on keeping people safe I don't see why so many people are going out of way to try and bend them. I think there's clearly a big difference between essentials - and essentials being different for different people - and non-essentials. Lack of food or medicine - human or animal - would obviously affect health. Using last year's patio furniture or sitting in the garden on your kitchen chairs instead of sun loungers wouldn't in almost every case, I would have thought. Having somewhere to live is essential - spending Easter in your holiday home isn't. I think the big problem is that our great leaders didn't follow the rules, and now that Johnson has recovered I'll bet a lot will be assuming that because he got better they would as well so they'll not feel a need to be careful. Regardless of what anyone else is doing, I'm only going out for food if I absolutely have to and if I end up staying in for another year then so be it. I do not fancy even a little dose of that nasty illness and I definitely don't want my boy going down with it so I'll stay home and catch up on my reading

Why do people fiddle taxes or scam others or commit robberies and murders? Because they can, because they think that the law doesnt apply to them amd theyre convinced theyll get away with it. 32 million have died from HIV, has it changed peoples attitude to safe sex? No. If this virus behaves like the 1918 flu pandemic we may have far worse to come,it wont change most people as theyll still believe theyre invincible.

The trouble with China is that they eat things that we in the West don't have to eat to survive. Some Chinese don't have the choice

One of my close, local friends died of Covid-19 yesterday and his elderly dad is in hospital with it. I'm in utter disbelief, I didn't even know that he was ill. 😢

I disagree bernie, most of the wildlife is thought of as a delicacy, not essential. Even dogs are farmed for food, they don't jump on them on the street.

NFU are saying that they need 70,000 pickers or crops will rot in the fields and that we'll have shortages later on.
On a different note, the tossers are out in force in their cars as the traffic noise is almost the same as a usual BH weekend whereas yesterday it was really quiet apart from workers hours.

Can I ask another question? Did they definitely confirm that this came from bats and was passed across by someone eating one? And if that's the case and they found six new strains in bats now is the sensible thing to not eat bats? Or is it more complicated than that?

Cant believe this twat has been given access to ICU with a camera crew when family are denied access to their own relatives...not to mention the blatant invasion of privacy.

He's not even some serious journalist! That said, I don't think really serious journos would do such a thing.
