Just been told by my neighbour that his uncle, an 82yr old who was quite fit has just gone after getting the virus. He only went shopping at his local shop for his paper and had shopped at Aldi three weeks ago other than that he kept himself to himself. Yes that's one of my points of concern. Oldies tend to have limited circles of contact. They don't go to work or socialise very much.

I've just seen on Facebook that the police are having to stop people on the link road to prevent them from getting to their holiday homes in Devon and Cornwall. Seriously you couldn't make it up. Added to which there are umpteen back roads to get to various places so I'd lay money some of them will get through. This is what's going to make the lockdown endless, all these idiots with their non-urgent needs to fulfil.

The lack of a funeral is the thing that's upsetting me at the moment, I hate the thought of that for people.

To be honest,i know some people are ignoring reztrictions but i think theres also a lot of official fudging and misinformation going on. My friends a dr and can no longer get info on testing or 'real' figures, the public totals are based on confirmed hospital admissions. The real picture is likely to be far higher. We are gaining 5000 a day officially which is mirroring Italy a few weeks ago. As Fen pointed out American study reckons UK will be worse than Italy. TV media is already censoring news and making it hard to find info on their sites. Just like the Chinese did.

He used to race IOM TT and had a Grimeca 4 LS front drum and backplate gathering dust on his shed shelf and wouldn't sell it me.
As for arseholes ignoring the lock-down, saw two new motorhomes heading towards Wales this morning and on walking the kids found that another fn caravan park has got two new arrivals, a caravan and a motorhome.
Some folks are doing all they can to dodge the bullet but some twunts are still dancing in the open with a target on their backs. Total tossers.

Very true NomadCris, they don't think we can handle it. Maybe they are right about some people.

I've just been over to Tesco and it's noticeably busier; I went at the same time two nights ago and it was almost empty. They were doing one in, one out at the door, people are wandering around in there and paying no mind to how close they get to people, those poor staff have got no chance of keeping a safe distance from all of them. I only cross one local road to get there but the difference in traffic between tonight and two nights ago is noticeable.
