Finally, they are testing packaging.A worrying percentage of the following packaging tested positive for Covid 19,...Wooden packing crates in shipping ,condesate prone cardboard packaging ie fish fingers, smoe fruit packaging.Shops.Early last week I called into a Tesco. No attempt to clean any trolley by staff, nor hands nor even available. No public in masks, kids larking about. Staff not wearing gloves or masks.Didnt go in.Diet going well. All the shopping I got yesterday is going to stay in the cupboard outside for three days to quarantine

Absolute fucking madness! This is the same system that's telling me I can't go visit my mate in the next village.... Reckon that's the reason nobody's taking the lockdown rules seriously, there are too many contradictions & exclusions....

Reckon that's the reason nobody's taking the lockdown rules seriously, there are too many contradictions & exclusions.... That is the problem, isn't it, it needed to be crystal clear and specific immediately. I think the issue was because they hadn't put support in place for things like wage replacement or child care for key workers they tried to wing it. The whole thing's a shambles. I am staying inside

Coronavirus: Millions of garden plants set to be binned www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52098436Such a waste, just wondering how many of them are edible and could possibly fill a gap in the food chain due to the lack of migrant pickers in the UK. If France and Spain supply their own market first as France has said then on top of the UK not having enough pickers IMO we're going to have shortages of fresh foodstuffs in the months to come. I think theyre all ornamental bedding plants....real shame, but the plants can be composted and they probably could fill a gap in imported food by growing salad and veg instead and recoup some of the loss. My friends partner owns a garden centre and theyre selling food now instead of garden stuff.

Went for a bit of food shopping, managed to get to Morrison's and Tesco for the final reductions. On the way back we were the only thing on the road. This is the closest to being in an apocalypse movie I have every been.

The conspiracy theories on social media are going from improbable to outright bizarre. Its a golden time for those with "extreme beliefs", its probably not very PC to call them fruitloops but some of them are definitely from the planet Zog.

It really is derived from a respiratory disease of the Pangolin.I want to try and understand how a virus is able to jump species.I know lots of things are inter species and shared but this particular virus is a nasty.
