Just wondering, if everyone is confined to barracks & travel is outlawed, why the fuck are the busses still running by my place?...🤔 They were saying on TV this morning that the passenger numbers on London buses and trains is down by a half. That's still a lot of people ignoring the ban. Some will be vital workers but a lot wont be |

There will be no "peak".The government are saying that so it sounds like there will be an "after peak" like things will improve to avoid mass panic.It is /will be devastating carnage until a vaccine is found and deployed.Until then take care and pray.NHS staff are cannon fodder that is all.The power people will be in their bunkers waiting till its over.I hope I survive long enough to see who is still standing which will say a lot. Finally,they are testing packaging.A worrying percentage of the following packaging tested positive for Covid 19,...Wooden packing crates in shipping ,condesate prone cardboard packaging ie fish fingers,smoe fruit packaging.Shops.Early last week I called into a Tesco.No attempt to clean any trolley by staff,nor hands nor even available.No public in masks,kids larking about. Staff not wearing gloves or masks.Didnt go in.Diet going well.  |

In and out doors, one in one out, que to get in (late afternoon) social distancing markers at the tills, cleaning station with plastic gloves and wipes on the way in. I didn't get why the low lifes had to peel the gloves off at the tills and throw them on the floor. |

Same here at local Tesco apparently, so neighbour says.
Conversely my friend who works at Coop in rural village in west of Scotland says its almost impossible to get staff or customers to adhere to official advice on spacing or basic hygiene and manager disregarding advice altogether.
Maybe its a rural resistant mindset lagging behind 'its not affecting us we dont need to worry ' Afterall a few weeks ago no one in the UK even believed it would affect us here.

If France and Spain supply their own market first as France has said then on top of the UK not having enough pickers IMO we're going to have shortages of fresh foodstuffs in the months to come. |
