One of Mrs Queens personal staff has too. I expect half the rich knobs who went to Cheltenham Festival have got it.

Yes but before you all start your witch hunt .... how many of them are essential workers. There are 10 million people living in London alone ...come on guys who was it on here who said he who cast the last stone... Cornish Harry? Anyway I cycled down to my allotment which as part of my daily exercise routine and very essential to my mental well being Wow the dirty looks I got on my way back from ignorant truck drivers who seem to think that because im smiling because im coming back from somewhere that is essential to me, my family and community that I am having a super time. The divide has begun and peoples hatred is showing through. I am going to keep smiling because god has my back Yeah I know what you mean Treestump about witch hunt because nobody really knows who are essential workers as well ... I was talking and meaning about the cut in tubes trains and buses the mayor of London did which he said was because of the Coronavirus he cut back staff so therefore trains and tubes transport etc are fewer in London ... so then that has a backlash as fewer trains etc means more ram packed trains and tubes etc and then put nurses nhs and essential workers at more risk as it was really terrible that day it was sardines squished in and off course scary for everyone travelling esp peeps who then have to go to a hospital and treat and help already weak sick people ... so it is hard and terrible for everyone as the mayor says he protecting staff so less transport and then the workers and nurses and Carers etc etc then have less protection so it’s very difficult and a very no win type of Sadky place to be in for so many hope you had a good cycle and it helped your wellbeing as that also be true as many people need to help there Mental wellbeing as this is terrible hard times for sooo many both physically and mentally and it is all about keeping safe and keeping mental and physical wellbeing also. And Sadky Your Also right about the Hateful Looks And Hateful Labelling And Wrong Judgements And Thinking going on now ... too sadly:( Even when I walk my bubaz in the evening or go for a walk by myself and get away from it all my own kinda way and enjoy the sunshine and spring and smile to myself at the Beautifulness etc the Hateful Glares And Wrong Thinking Be very uncomfortable And it’s so Wrong ( But Sadly like I always say when Man lives or feels fear often sadly the Bad Uggly side Of Man comes out and to the Front (. Yes for some thankfully it brings out more the good and helping and kindness etc etc ... so once again it’s like an Emotional Box Of Mans Chocolates meaning “YOU NEVER KNOW IF ITS GOOD OR BAD NEXT SIDE AND PEOPLE OF MAN “ Time of times it seems and will be for a while to come still .

I don't know if this sounds weird but I quite suit being in isolation. Its like a spiritual detox. I'm not happy about whats happening or that people are dying of course. But on TV they were talking about people finding isolation stressful, I don't at all

But on TV they were talking about people finding isolation stressful, I don't at all I'm the same, Bernie, I feel really bad for the people that are finding it hard (or ill, out of work now, business closed down and so on). But I am loving not having the constant daily stress and hassle and dealing with people and other stuff. It's so quiet just now, I was in the bath earlier (bathing in the morning! How often do you get that luxury?!) and all I could hear was the birds singing and it was just so nice. And I'm wondering to myself how I can keep this kind of lifestyle going and not go back to the old one? I would like to go out for a walk - I know you can, but I'm being ultra cautious with my son and not going anywhere just now - but apart from that I'm not missing anything.

Yeah, we too are not finding it a hassle. Plus, I have made new trousers for summer and am waiting on fabric coming for a dress! Happy days! We have all got to find some positivity from isolation for the sake of our mental health if nothing else.

The virus spreads in airborne droplets so if theyre on surfaces there is a risk. General use Surgical facemasks dont protect the wearer from airborne germs, theyre for preventing the wearer sneezing coughing or breathing on a patient. Thats why care staff in isolation units wear positive pressure headgear. You need quite sophisticated full face masks that filter gram-negative bacteria or virus to counter airborne pathogens. Pathogens can be breathed in, ingested by mouth or absorbed via mucosa (your eye tear ducts are an entry way, hence why goggles or face shields are worn.) Antibacterial spray will kill most hard surface infections. Hospitals usually use Antibacterial hand cleaners like hibiscrub. If its a contact spread pathogen then any handle, shopping trolley, food surface, money etc would be a risk....but for now it appears the biggest risk is airborne transmission between people in close proximity. Cris, do you mind if I copy and paste the info in that to send to a friend in the US? She is making her own masks just out of paper towels and fabric scraps around the house. I get that it might give you a psychological boost but I've told her that won't keep her germ free and she's not convinced. Do you mind if I send her what you wrote? I'll take out the username bit at the top, obviously.

Yet flights from New York are still landing in Britain. Most Americans don't have adequate healthcare insurance. A stay in a high dependency ward would cost about $10 grand a day

Flights here are supposed to be onky to repatriate people to their homes. Flights from Europe and UK are banned in the US unless for that purpose.
Deaths in Spain over 4000 now

Virus particles are incredibily small and will pass through many filters and can be absorbed via your eyes too. The only proper protection is a biological respirator mask the military would use and they are incredibily uncomfortable to use continuously,or a pressurised enclosed head mask that are super expensive. The best protection is isolation and distancing. If masks were totally effective there wouldnt be thousands of doctors and nurses infected with the virus.

A very good friend of mine from way back died last Sept in South Carolina from a heart attack. He couldn't/wouldn't go to the hospital when he had symptoms because last time he did it cost thousands. So he thought if I just take it easy maybe it will pass. Steve RIP
