Just part of the madness Harry. Mate of mine fits roller shutters & shop fronts. Was told yesterday they were shutting down last night. 8am today his boss called & said he had to go secure a job at Rochdale. By the time he got there his boss had text again to say they are back open as usual from tomorrow morning!... Ma told me this morning the TV showed trains down south packed with commuters. Nobody giving a fuck by the look of things.....😕 The tube trains are absolutely rammed, there were pics in the paper and there's literally not an inch of space because they've reduced the number of trains. And yes, who's open, who's shut, a lot of it seems quite fluid? The chap in town with the Hemp Shop just posted to say the police have been in to close them down. He's pointed out that a lot of people are using CBD now to manage pain, anxiety and so on but they've insisted and have told him he can't post anything out either, so he can't even run it online. Apparently (according to Facebook so it must be true!) lots of people are being told if they don't go in to work they won't get paid, even though they're doing jobs that could be done from home (which always makes me wonder why so many people go in to work if they could do it from home instead?). It's all just been so badly managed. |

Rail operators nationalised?... Wonder if the govt will now sell them off to a foreign country like they did with everything else. They don't usually miss an opportunity to fuck us over....😕 The rail network has never not been nationalised, the operating companies are only franchised to operate the routes. All that has happened is that the terms of the franchises have been suspended to allow the operators to reduce the services without breaking their contracts. |

It’s STILL INSANE to Travel On Buses/Tubes/Trains Here In London  (. Thankfully I don’t but Jeez wowww it’s Soooo Insane And Yes those pics were TRUE That’s what All The Train Stations Are Like And Trains And Tubes In London !! It’s Not Just NHS Workers Or Carers Etc Going To Work Either !! I know people who be Nurses here and they say they not Only Scared Of Getting the Virus on way to work as Tubes trains buses packed in morning BUT also scared they pass it on to people who they trying to protect and care for (( Something has Defo got to be done about the transport here in London Especially because the Blimmin Gov Cutting Some Trains And Tubes Out and Running a Skeleton Service HAS CAUSED THIS RAM PACKED INSANE TRAINS TUBES AND BUSES OVERCROWDING IN THE MORNING AND EVENING !! ( So they have got to Put Trains Back To FULL SEEVICE DURING WORKING HOURS ESPECIALLY MORNING AND RUSH HOUR !! To STOP THE INSANE CRUSHED PEOPLE SQUASHED ALLTOGETHER IN OVER CROWDED TRAINS AND TUBES AND BUSES !! |

Anyway I cycled down to my allotment which as part of my daily exercise routine and very essential to my mental well being
Wow the dirty looks I got on my way back from ignorant truck drivers who seem to think that because im smiling because im coming back from somewhere that is essential to me, my family and community that I am having a super time.
The divide has begun and peoples hatred is showing through.
I am going to keep smiling because god has my back

Just thinking. Journeys to food shops are permitted. So are petrol stations open? My van is old and a tad unreliable, are recovery firms open. Are garages also open to fix it sooo then are parts suppliers open to supply the garages? Thinking back on Bojos speech and it was long overdue, just exactly who is going to be working tomorrow? First thoughts are business as usual for many workers but is it? I'm still trying to take in all the ramifications and I'm asking here as the thread in other place has been overrun by a collection of worthless useless self-centred twunts of the first order. Petrol station was open today but note on pumps advised people to fill up rather than make lots of trips.So people are filling up and telling their friends to fill up.With the inevitable cascade and next Panic of demand I know that when they go dry soon the supply chain will need to catch up if they can.If you can get a fill up asap and reserve trips to essential.Be aware that thieving of fuel and food will follow very soon.No pumps had sanitiser .I wore gloves,but be careful touching cards/cash etc.I got my correct money ready prior.But aquick duck in pay leave was fkd up as two idiots chatting happily face to face almost over the dam counter.Keep some cash stashed too as banking system may falter awhile.Think infrastructure wobble or fail.Also that at least 15pc of population are twats and near 9000 in Uk officially have it.Thats 12000 in real terms.  A t least if Recovery are still working,the service will be better as far fewer cars about. |

Went to supermarket yesterday lunchtime. Security guard was not letting couples go in together,the shelves were well stocked,the staff were all busy wiping down the surfaces,very few people in there and tape set up to control people at the checkout with stop markers to keep others getting too close. Am very impressed with how the french are handling this.
As for the shit that I am hearing from the uk with people flocking out together and shouldering old folk out of the way etc etc and in general not caring at all ,well I am happy to be over here.
