Hopefully they might shoot the two legged vermin if it gets that bad. Hope the car is fixed soon.

A beautiful day.Warm sunshine and later a nippy wind. Not a car nor a rambler to be seen.Lovely.Its weird the lack of everyone but very welcome. Then I got back and saw the news.NHS undersupplied, our government bickering while people die,Snowdon seeing the highest volume of visitors in living memory, coffins stacking up in Italy and morons meeting in pubs on the quiet. All is madness, except for the trees and birds.

Just thinking. Journeys to food shops are permitted. So are petrol stations open? My van is old and a tad unreliable, are recovery firms open. Are garages also open to fix it sooo then are parts suppliers open to supply the garages? Thinking back on Bojos speech and it was long overdue, just exactly who is going to be working tomorrow? First thoughts are business as usual for many workers but is it?
I'm still trying to take in all the ramifications and I'm asking here as the thread in other place has been overrun by a collection of worthless useless self-centred twunts of the first order.

Fuel stations will be open with distancing same as food shops as theyre essential. I presume garages will only open for essential work not routine servicing. You can still buy stuff online too.Ive had a load of stuff emailed me since BJ has been on,ill look through it but the regs said essential trip once a week for food or meds.

Here
All retail must close with notable exceptions Supermarkets and other food shops, health shops, pharmacies including nondispensing pharmacies, petrol stations, bicycle shops, home and hardware shops, laundrettes and dry cleaners, bicycle shops, garages, car rentals, pet shops, corner shops, newsagents, post offices, and banks.
Rail operators have been nationalised for a period of 6 months initially. All utilities im expecting will be nationalised in similar arrangements in all probability,as yet theres no notification to that effect.

Rail operators nationalised?... Wonder if the govt will now sell them off to a foreign country like they did with everything else. They don't usually miss an opportunity to fuck us over....😕

Chinese railway companies are on course to win bids to operate High Speed 2 trains because of chaos among British bidders.

Well, that's a surprise....🤔 Just another avenue to sell us out to foreign control. We might as well have stayed in the EU & just greased our arises for them instead...😡

I'd accept it more if it was the Swiss or Japanese who were looking to run our rail system as they are the best in the world for running such an enterprise with efficiency but the Chinese, not now.

They don't usually miss an opportunity to fuck us over....😕 Its only a temporary arrangement, initially 6 months,to ensure the rail network continues to operate a viable service which private operators could not guarantee with substantially reduced income from fewer passengers. The operators dint have to consider cost or revenue as the government assumes responsibility. When the emergency is over, ownership of the rail franchise's will be handed back to the companies. Its what happens in any war footing scenario. The government takes control of and responsibility for absolutely everything.

Speaking to ma this morning, she said the TV was showing trains packed tight with people! Nobody seems to be listening to any advice, reckon the only option is gonna be shutting the fucking lot down!...

I worry about the homeless - in my area we have lots of redundant empty govt buildings that could be used for homeless people I have one on my street and I for tonne would not object to many of them living there. They need looked after too.

Theyre supposed to be reducing rail services to an essential minimal service. I saw the pics too,it didnt look conducive to social distancing in any way shape or form.

Just part of the madness Harry. Mate of mine fits roller shutters & shop fronts. Was told yesterday they were shutting down last night. 8am today his boss called & said he had to go secure a job at Rochdale. By the time he got there his boss had text again to say they are back open as usual from tomorrow morning!... Ma told me this morning the TV showed trains down south packed with commuters. Nobody giving a fuck by the look of things.....😕
