Today, since 2.30 this morning.if been sat in Lincoln general.now on cardiac ward..went to bed about 9.30 ,shoulders aching as usual,so took 2 ibuprofen to get me off to sleep..they didn't work.the pain got worse, spread down arms and back.couldn't breath..very scary.was then spectacularly sick, called ambulance about 1.30. Sky high bp,sticky blood and heart attack..feeling ok.tired, but no pain.angiogram tomorrow see what's going on,was building fences the day before..and was told this bay is the only one on the ward with no wi fi!!piffle😁...only been here a few hours and missing my dogs😞 Marian and I are sorry to hear this, Nicky. Hope you are out and about soon. But don't push yourself so hard in future, none of us are getting younger, so do less work at a time, and take more breaks! All Best Wishes from us both. Thanks keith.I said to malc last week I'll get in touch with you two soon and meet up or pick you up for a coffee..when I'm back,we 'll get into it.😊

So sorry you've got this going on, Grace, and I hope they have some useful info/answers for you soon. Have they already said it was a heart attack? Or is that what they're not sure about? Got confused reading posts (it's early! lol). Whatever is going on, I hope you are more comfortable now. Would definitely complain about the lack of sequins and taffeta though, these people have no taste Hope you're alright lovely, keep us updated, shout if there's anything we can do xx

I know youve an underlying blood issue, another is not really what you want on the bingo card. There aref so many complications to Covid. My health is more like one of those death drop fun roller coaster things, not so much level but life would be terribly boring without some scary cliff edge fun thrown in wouldnt it. Thank you anyway. Hope the scan goes well. 🍀

Fingers crossed things are calmer from here on in xx

No never had covid.or the jabs..just had tweetabix forced on me.I'm down for 11 o clock investigation s.shite night.1.45 the old dear next door was eating boiled sweets, out of a very crunchy bag.3.15 they thought I'd not had enough ecgs..urghhhh!to top it all the nurse said I'll fetch you a gown..not a piece of taffeta or sequin to be seen🤔 Did my head in in hospital all that disturbance especially at night when the nurse wakes you up to ask if you need anything to help you sleep ! or pain. 👹 And drs taking bloods.Or sit round the nurses station talking all night ! I discharged myself eventually id had enough.

That's the state of the NHS today. No style left. Seriously though, I hope it all goes well and you get sorted out.

Amazing what they can see inside you! Did you watch it all on the screen? I'm so squeamish with stuff like that I can never look, even though I'd find it interesting. Hope you've got some nice doctors to take your mind off things a bit xx

Christmas music has started on the radio, my son wanted to listen to it so I sang along, that made him change his mind It's good that you're pain free, does that mean the pain you've been having was related to the heart stuff? Or just what they're giving you is knocking out all pain regardless? Sometimes you don't realise how difficult pain has been until it's not there for a while, it makes such a difference. Keep us updated on the dreams, they might get weirder! Hopefully not more Christmassy though lol

I think it's related to the heart thing.they gave me a spray for under my tongue, nitrate? It went almost immediately, the spray is for emergencies.but one of the tabs I'm on is obviously keeping it at bay..so,the tear, dosnt match the ecg readout, which is all over the place.plus thickening of the heart walls.getting an appointment for a specialist in leicester..the fact mum was born with heart defect maybe looking at a hereditary condition..or 2 different conditions!so I asks, what can/can't i do?no digging,no carrying feed sacks or bales.no walking the dog's on leads because of their size, luckily we're totally contained and he's good so walks are ok.no wrestling goats.no rowing machine,no punch bag .no driving for a week..I said is aggressive crochet ok,as long as I don't sharpen the ends to points for anyone else that tells me I can't do anything😖

Very difficult being less active when you're used to always being busy but, maybe you can crochet yourself something very beautiful and fancy before you sharpen the ends up too much lol
