Looks interesting Gen.bookmarked for a later read😊friends caravan sky lights sealed.I hope, 2 not too bad,the other looked like a 3 yr old had been let loose with duct tape.as I'd said, not pretty but should keep her dry.so luck to Lizzy in her new life, from hair dresser to the circus! You are the master of all tasks, Grace Lol, dry is better than pretty any day. What's her role in the circus? From hairdresser to circus sounds like an interesting transition lol xx

Most of the shenanigans here are hilarious.if not downright scary at times..I ache everywhere this morning.uj dared to ask why.well crawling and shuffling around on a caravan roof for the morning would do it!Lizzy is nearly 20 yrs younger than me.with the grace of a sofa, and no clue, very loud, and we love her to bits "with the grace of a sofa" HA HA HA - love your way of telling the tale - sweet and truthful lol yes - I know the feeling of aching n shit ... having been ticked off by the Management (Ackworth Parish Council) - for letting my allotment go to hell for the past year - I've been up there past couple of days (having got enough confidence to get back on my bicycle - and not fallen off it again so far) ... also - got a couple of possible connections with people who might come over and share the plot with me ... who are not retired and only have limited time ... but are wanting to share time getting their hands in the soil with their adult children - for quality time together .... so fingers corssed we might get mutually supportive and enabling sharing going on ... would be nice ........... am chanting and praying to the Gods and Goddesses for their assist ...... seems to be materialising - possibly x I am finding "going slower" helping ... more deep breaths and less putting myself under pressure ... might be an antidote to doing damage to myself and anyone else around me - sounds like a plan any road ...........

Easy to do, you think you're invincible when you're young. What an interesting range of jobs, it's nice to have all those things to look back on

The dead fox will probably have been killed by humans, quite possibly using dogs as their weapon of choice.😥

Somebody might have put poison down for rats/molluscs/whatever; and it has gotten to the fox either because he has eaten it fresh or from eating a poisoned rodent.
It could even have been poison put out specifically for foxes or dogs. Humans are trash.
Alternatively, if you have a big cat roaming they often kill rival predators and would set the dogs away. Doesn't have to be huge, a lynx could and would do it; we had one at the top of our lane like that last year. A broken neck is very easy but it would be more likely a big dog causing that - I'm sure that you've seen a terrier shake a rat, breaking its neck.
With a cat they tend to grab the muzzle of their prey and suffocate it. Either way you would not see a mark unless you examined it pretty closely.

Our rat man came yesterday to top up bait boxes, but there's no way a fox could access them.there is a proper farm two or 3 fields away, not a small holding like the other couple off this road.got sheep with lambs.most likely.people have their reasons, but there's kinder methods

They don't have to access the bait boxes, just eat the poisoned rodent. This is a major cause of death for wildlife. 😢

We poisoned rats and mice with a mixture of ground up peanuts, bicarb, toothpaste, and some flour. Mix it up and mould it in an ice cube mould.
It kills rats and mice but is totally harmless to other animals and raptors
Look it up.

I will.I made up a garlic and onion solution and sprayed the underside of the caravan,as we heard them close one night.seems to have deterred them, but still seen in our bit occasionally, won't rid them completely I know
