We're in the midst of a massive Lego clear out. My boy has been Lego obsessed for many years, much of it is the complete sets that you can buy (usually film related) and an equally huge amount is the old fashioned stuff for custom builds. We're rebuilding the complete sets as you can get more money for them rather than selling by weight. Many many pieces mixed in big boxes so much sorting going on, I am seeing Lego in my sleep. Pleased about it, partly because I feel it shows he's outgrowing some of his childhood stuff (for a long time I thought that might never happen), it will free up a bit of space and bring in a bit of cash so all good but my word, there's so much of it lol. At least the weather's shit so I don't feel hard done by staying indoors

Good luck with the mega sort out.one bonus,no Lego to stand on😁 I might be jinxing myself here but in all the years he's been Lego mad I've never once trod on a bit. Even back in the days when I still had to go in to him at night and there would just be a nightlight on I still never caught on a bit. So weird because everyone else I know has half killed themselves on the stuff at least once I must have Lego detecting feet lol

He got given a lot over the years by people clearing out their attics and finding all their old stuff up there. Was really lovely, often people we didn't really know but he was such a Lego fiend people would say "oh I know someone that would love that" and we'd end up with a big box load It sells for quite a good price so we can use it to buy some new wellies to cope with all the rain! Lol, hope all is good with you xx

That which endures: Lego a great example Also nice to hear your boy developed a strong 'fiendish' passion for a particular thing ... obviously not a butterfly brain kind of attention ha ha and an indicatioin of loyalty ... Might be worth trying to locate some secondhand 'old school' wellies ... the quality of a more vintage pair will doubtless be far better ... so long as it's not a pair that has been worn so much as to be treadless ha ha Have been clagging about in the muck a bit recently myself - down the allotment ... rain = heap plenty mud LOL

Most of the shenanigans here are hilarious.if not downright scary at times..I ache everywhere this morning.uj dared to ask why.well crawling and shuffling around on a caravan roof for the morning would do it!Lizzy is nearly 20 yrs younger than me.with the grace of a sofa, and no clue, very loud, and we love her to bits

I had an ancient pair I bought at a car boot sale, so many years ago and for some stupid reason after about ten years I decided to buy some new ones even though the old ones were fine. Spilt within six months! Bastards! Lol xx
