Lucky i got me pruning done yesterday in the sun ,it has returned to monsoon conditions today. Todays more a fire, tea n biscuits sort of day .

Been a social day,our mate dan popped in for coffee.good to catch up.news that the wood yard might be no more,not surprised.met the new neighbours.came early before they 'll be travelling and working the box office.older couple from N.Z..funny thing,they know of me and my ex's friends that moved out there a few years ago,live about 5miles from them!work plan for tomorrow.after one of the goats got stuck behind the hay feeder🙄every eventuality is taken into consideration when making or putting stuff in their pen..but the little sods always find a trap!so that to block up,chicken pen to dig out as the wood chip has washed down and blocks the gate.a hen house to refelt.and the dogs beds need sweeping out.gonna be a busy one.glad I'm feeling up to it at the moment😁  |

I've finished my work and am going to ride up to Consett later, to have a mooch in the charity shops with my friend.
It's gorgeous outside, sunny and warm.

Have fun maggy!the better weather sure helps the feeling of doing stuff!moved the chickens back "home"all cleaned out and some wood chip to scratch in.washing line moved,fed up with the clothes coming in with resin on from the fence,so it's now a man trap of you don't duck!no problem for me,being a shorty😋lines now full.animal duties done until this eve.went out to fetch post from the gate.a car pulls in...wrong turn for them,but turns out of was one of my old gardening customers,come to check out the kennels next door,great to catch up😁

Work party today,3 hours+ major clean out of dogs and goats.3 mx stunt riders,and 2 trapeze artists as work mates.😁 not every day you can say that on a farm!feked now,but needed the work out.I'll probably not be able to move tomorrow!

I finally finished picking up the fruit tree prunings today. Did a bit of stone walling and walked the bastardvills. All in the dry . The heavy rain is a BBC fail. Steak pie for tea and promises to my self if tomorrow is dry I will finish barn roof which will take 5 minutes but is extremly unappealing and I have been putting it off for 3 weeks now . I need to get a grip . Ramram.

There's always jobz,bungo!today had plans!never make plans.we 're taking a couple of days away,before they all bigger off and leave us in peace.a new couple from nz,are chook sitting for us,so came over to meet the lil sods,4 1/2 hours later😁 oh well,great couple,very interesting.who needs plans? So we're off to Leicester to see a trib band,old genesis,good reviews.hoping to get to some museums,and ujs earmarked a couple of record shops...feels like forever since we 've been anywhere,excited,but a tad jittery about there being real life normal people to deal with😜
