Also, talking of baking, I've made my own bread forever, and use a sourdough starter which is probs a couple of decades old, though sometimes I use baker's yeast.
The last couple of years I've been experimenting with bread that I used to get too rarely as a child, only when my mother's relatives brought it over from Europe.
The bread is very good, but today I made the loaf I've been trying to make forever, that dark, moist, dense rye loaf, which my mother called peasant bread. I am a happy person, it turned out perfectly. I made two loaves, one for me, one for the lass up the road.
I didn't expect her to enjoy it, but she and her beloved rated it 11 out of 10. 😋

I make mostly soda bread similar to Bigbears mainly cause soda bread takes half an hour start to finish but have made a lot of this guy Maurizio' sourdough recipes....perfetto www.theperfectloaf.com/Peasant bread much nicer than shop crud.

I hardly ever make soda bread, I don't know why. I like it very well when someone else makes it. Scones are more likely for me if I'm not making a loaf.

I love the look of those cinnamon rolls, not to mention the apricot and thyme loaf. They will be on the menu at some point. 😋

Oh no!I flooded the communal washing machine area the other week..not totally my fault, the sink it drains into was full of mud from the circus crew washing work wear.no one noticed as it's behind a cupboard ! Hope yours hasn't done any damage It's amazing how much mess a relatively small amount of water makes! No damage, just a lot of mess to clear up and many things that are still drying out in different places. At least it was clean water and not sewage!

I left the kitchen tap running when I went out this morning. And the plug was in the sink. I now have an indoor pool. Can't decide whether to get the mop or put me cossie on oops ... oh my, I sympathise - I let the bath run over and ended up with a bathroom swimming pool .... scared the shit out of me .......... I just hope (cos it was a ground floor flat, that what couldn't mop up ... went down under the flooring and back into the ground ...... water (like fire) can be life preserving or deadly ..... all the best - at least it's not cold enough for ice at the mo. Lots of love ... sending you good vibes x Thanks Jen, fortunately downstairs for us to so no-one below getting an unexpected shower! I don't even remember putting the tap on, or why I did, there was nothing in the sink so I've no idea what I was up to. I'm checking before leaving the house in future lol xx

I am a bunch of cellular beings and have a load of STUPID in my head - called education ............. or maybe reduced manipulated so called EDUCATION ...................... ANYWAY ....... fucking off, cos it's so big and so amazing, from micro to macro ........ CONSCIOUSNESS real CONSCIOUSNESS is WONDER FULL ....... so lovely to be on this site and party to sharing this lovely stuff. LOVE it .......... thank you all folks - sooooooooooooo appreciated - BIG LOVE
