Right my lovelies, if I ever offer to build flat pack furniture for you - say no  Lol, the bookcase/cupboard thingy needed a couple of brackets on the back to strap it to the wall and the cupboard doors putting on. The holes weren't in the right places, I was confused, another bit looked a bit wonky - and I realised I'd done the top section upside down. Had to take the whole thing apart and because I'd done some bits wrong the wood had split in a few places, only a little bit and in places you can't see but honestly, what a div. Anyway, I did it all again and it's right this time but it didn't look right in the place I was originally going to put it so I had to shift all the furniture around again to put it somewhere else. Then I did the corner desk thingy which has got drawers and shelves under it, that went alright but it's quite big and I struggled a bit on my own with some of it, decided that didn't look right where it was so started to move it but by now the sitting room was overfull so I managed to wedge myself between a wall, a desk and the sofa, which was too heavy for me to move because I'd loaded it up with all the crap I'd moved out of the way to get the bookcase in Managed to free myself, moved the desk - then decided it was better where it was the first time and had to move it all back. At which point the cat came in and lobbed a dead mouse at me which was nice. It's like an episode of Mr Bean in my house sometimes. Anyway, it is all done. My clutter is all put away, the room looks nice, the Christmas tree is pretty, everything's had a good clean and I've put my back out so I can't walk now. Lol |

I shouldn't laugh,but I can just see you🙃😂glad it's all festive now...my trees been in the car for a month and a half.daughter gave me it.it's half a tree,so it fits flat against the wall.told malc about it,until we were talking about it yesterday,he was puzzling why would my daughter give us,or anyone,half a tree!he was thinking top of bottom half!🙄

Cinema this morning, I dropped an ear plug and couldn't find it again, then the lense dropped out of my glasses. Just waiting now to see if a limb falls off to complete the trio.

Went to see family yesterday.gifts all distributed.got a lovely hamper off eldest daughter.miss them so much this time of year.suppose to be going to the bosses tomorrow,but ujs in agony with his hip,been in bed all day as it's more comfy.so who knows where we 'll be......hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow,however you spend it...think I'll off and hibernate until april🙁
