Don't, have energy after all the fucking around with it !!! Seems like the plate I spent ages unearthing basicly says made in england FFS! , but seems vin is scratched into bell housing flange with out of ink biro . luckily Ma back from overseas and claims to have some forms ! The paint in this region is paticularly thick so hopefully scratchy biro has speshul etchin ink . Cannot praise lorazopram enough last few weeks! won't be saying that when I run out !!! vintagetractorengineer.com/2009/01/fordson-dexta-serial-numbers/

Tractor paint doesnt come off willingly, usually has to be shot or sand blasted off....Have you tried putting a sheet of paper of tracing paper on it and rubbing over with pencil the number 'may' come up. Alternatively try shining a bright light or UV light across the number...Otherwise youre just going to have to resort to violence and chisel the paint of with wide blade chisel.A blowtorch might help soften the paint. You can get the original colour Fordson and other make paints off ebay to repaint.

Today I assembled a very large flat pack bookcase - cheap and cheerful. I was almost at the end when I realised the back panels should be slid in as you do each level, not pinned on once it's assembled. I could not be arsed to take it apart and start again so I have duct taped them all in place Looks fine from the front but if any of you ever come to my house don't turn the furniture around Lol

I just wasn't concentrating, I'd put two of them in place but for some reason didn't think about the other two until the end. But like yours, you can't tell unless someone points it out and all the books being on it instead of in piles round the house will be nice lol xx
