Quite a good day today.despite the camper failing it's mot.which we suspected, but for different faults, which didn't apply anyway(reversing light requirement for 2009 vehicle)but it's all easily doable😁this afternoon the band my boss is in had to make a demo tape.so,where better to record than the grain store barn in the yard.they 're a bit good!

I went for an early morning walk and got soaked, watched a lamb trying to play with a Magpie and a mummy sheep running away from her three babies - I don't know what sheep is for 'leave me alone for five minutes!' but I think that's what was going through her mind Is it another Bank Holiday today or are we back to normal now? I'm probably going to potter about at home and eat the chicken that was left over from yesterday.

Doctor this morning, nearly missed the appointment because I'd got the time muddled up with another appointment, realised just in time, raced off, couldn't park, road works on the road to the next nearest car park, people queing out the door waiting to get to reception, it's not the most relaxed start to the day! They're checking for arthritis and sleep apnea so I really do need to shift this excess weight, I know it's not doing me any favours so I need to make more effort. I don't have any other vices any more so food treats feels like the only option, I'm like a pet that expects a reward at some point during the day There's plenty of places to walk so I've got no excuse, I've just got to stop stuffing my face when I feel like it. Lots of jobs round the house to do today so that should burn off a few more calories

Loads of energy Only downside for me is I can only camp at places with an electric hookup so wild camping and sleep overs in laybys and truck stops are out

For years now I've felt like I just pass out for a bit rather than actually sleeping and I'm always so tired, it would be nice to feel better in that way. Did you have any problems with your driving licence? I'm guessing if you did they got resolved as I know you drive about a lot I can manage without wild camping. Unless I can plug myself in to the cigarette lighter maybe? Lol.

We did go out for a really nice walk this evening and watched the lambs racing round the field, they're just so cute when they run and leap about with their little tails wagging I did not have any snacks this evening so I am expecting to be two stone lighter by the morning. Lol.

Theyre not cheap but what is...but it might be an option if you wanted to go wilding. You can also get wearable pulse oximeters that wake you up gently if your oxygen sats drop below normal range. You can get electronic oxygen concentrators and misting nebulisers too,Ive got some, some cheap some not but there are many options available the medical profession often doesnt tell you about possibly because getting you hooked into pharmaceutical dependency is better for them but probably also depends on whether they think you the patient is capable of understanding your condition and managing it responsibly, which many people arent. I dont have sleep apnea but i have asthma and PTSD and on opiate painkillers so my sleeping patterns are all over the shop. Ive found my smartwatch that monitors my heartrate spO2 and sleep patterns quite useful for trying to sort some optimal sleep periods. I sleep better in the day,so i often do.Maybe only a few hours but i get better quality sleep and can sleep through all kinds of noise in the daytime but at night the slightest noise im wide awake...force of habit from old i think but there you go.Its sleep quality and duration that makes the difference. Regular exercise and general fitness can help a lot. Being overweight (not saying you are ) and eating too much sweet stuff is another big contributor to poor quality sleep or sleep apnea and to lack of energy or sleepiness and lethargy. Glad youve found something that helps yours.

That's interesting about sleeping in the day, I sleep much better in the day and the same thing with noise, I can sleep through a truck driving through the wall in the afternoon but at night the cat shifting position is enough to wake me. I often wake up in the early hours and just can't get off again, oddly I find sometimes putting the TV on helps - you'd think the noise and screen light would have the opposite effect but it often sends me off. It's odd. It does affect you, doesn't it, it would be nice to go to bed and wake up feeling good and with a bit of bounce in your step. I do need to knock the sweet stuff on the head, I know it does me no good. Must try harder! Lol

Glad youve found something that helps yours. When you have sleep apnea and even when you snore you don't ever get into the deep sleep that you need. You just keep waking yourself up. If you can get diagnosed then they will give you a machine and a mask.
