You can actually get battery powered masked CPAP devices and rechargeable battery packs to run them all night or several nights depending on use. Theyre not cheap but what is...but it might be an option if you wanted to go wilding. You can also get wearable pulse oximeters that wake you up gently if your oxygen sats drop below normal range. You can get electronic oxygen concentrators and misting nebulisers too,Ive got some, some cheap some not but there are many options available the medical profession often doesnt tell you about possibly because getting you hooked into pharmaceutical dependency is better for them but probably also depends on whether they think you the patient is capable of understanding your condition and managing it responsibly, which many people arent. I dont have sleep apnea but i have asthma and PTSD and on opiate painkillers so my sleeping patterns are all over the shop. Ive found my smartwatch that monitors my heartrate spO2 and sleep patterns quite useful for trying to sort some optimal sleep periods. I sleep better in the day,so i often do.Maybe only a few hours but i get better quality sleep and can sleep through all kinds of noise in the daytime but at night the slightest noise im wide awake...force of habit from old i think but there you go.Its sleep quality and duration that makes the difference. Regular exercise and general fitness can help a lot. Being overweight (not saying you are ) and eating too much sweet stuff is another big contributor to poor quality sleep or sleep apnea and to lack of energy or sleepiness and lethargy. Glad youve found something that helps yours. When you have sleep apnea and even when you snore you don't ever get into the deep sleep that you need. You just keep waking yourself up. If you can get diagnosed then they will give you a machine and a mask. Hope everybody getting some helpful info here ... everybody is different ... no one size fits all ... so I put the following simply as my path forard ... could be wrong, not recommending anything as such - just sharing I stopped all my meds about 18 months ago (30 years on SSRIs (seroxat/fluoxetine/prozac)) ... stopped my Levothyroxine (for hypothyroidism and its so called associated chronic fatigue - was nearly falling asleep at the wheel on my way to work commutes - 2 hours every day). Was also diagnosed with Sleep Apnea ... and shipped a CPAP machine - sent that back to Philips pharma tech. It was all shite for me (IMHO) ... SSRIs ruined my life - sedated me enough to work in a toxic industry like a droid for 30 years - when I might have been an artist and activist instead of a studio/retail industry troll on the edge of daily suicide. LIFE SURE IS "FUNNY BUSINESS" ..... Anyway - am very fortunate to have survived this far ... I hope the Universe might have more for me to do in order to serve the greater plan ... gods/goddesses willing. Gotta keep laughing - because it really is hilarious - when I'm not weeping buckets of acid tears ....... watching Bill Bailey, Bill Hicks, The Fast Show, Keving Bridges and many more - thank heavens and earth for all you comedians out there - keep at it peeps - BIG LOVE

I've not found anti-depressants helpful for me, I find they just make me not care enough about my problems to try to solve them rather than actually making me feel better. Work miracles for some and not for others, we're all different, like you say. Plenty of comedy does help! And fortunately my bad memory means I can watch the same shows repeatedly because I forget the punchlines Lol xx

Thanks vw...we all know here it's going to be a long hard slog getting the company back on its feet.we 're still daily facing big challenges, and fall out from the farmers death, coming up a year.greedy, bitter family members trying to get access to accounts, and them being shut down,so no cash flow!etc etc.but we 're all doing our best.and despite it being nesting time, which usually means we 're a bit slow,we 're quite busy๐

Today I went to see my friend Tina who is in a home. She cannot go to her own home, mainly due to family problems which would make it unsafe for her. She was crying, she was so lonely when I turned up.
I'm taking her out for lunch tomorrow and then down to the river so that she can feel like a person for a little while.
Tonight, to cheer myself up I'm going to talk to the scammer who has no idea that I am perfectly aware of who/what he is.
He contacted me about a week ago, thinking I'm a vulnerable old woman who will fall into a dating trap and ultimately hand over my life's savings.
I keep making him wait a day or two for replies, and am being very friendly and very unhelpful. I give it two weeks until he admits that he is in love with me, and then a couple of days later will have a mysterious banking malfunction expecting me to send him a loan ๐๐๐๐๐
I had decided to block him earlier as being not worth my time, but now I'm cross enough at what is happening with Tina that I think I will bat my virtual eyelashes at him tonight and up the game a bit.
If I don't get bored or rumbled too quickly, I might get a story out of it.

Sorry about your friend Tina it sounds like a miserable situation, shes lucky to have someone like you who cares enough to take her out. Life is a bit shit for so many people.
I had some Nigerian scammers on a dating app years ago,I think it must have been a few running various profiles taking in in turns as they never remembered things from one conversation to the next. They kept telling me different stories about sick mothers or children needing operations and asking for thousands of dollars for air tickets and hospital care which of course I promised faithfully if they provided their bank details then pretended the bank messed up the transactions...After about a fortnight they lost interest ๐คก Then i told them they were being traced by interpol and the profiles disappeared . Theyre not very bright or convincing.I managed to trace the internet cafe in Abuja they were using in about 5 mins.
