Try spraying on a diluted solution of water and dish washing soap and do not wipe it off. It will form a film that controls the static buildup. I did have to Google it!! I'll try that thanks. I tried Googling it but it kept bringing up static in clothes...

Years ago you could buy an anti-static "gun" to get dust and fluff off vinyl records. Perhaps they are available again now vinyl is making a comeback.
The one I had was called a Zerostat.

CD cleaners are designed to reduce static. You can buy anti-static sprays off amazong (other stores are available)
Alternatively, never buy plastic frames

Copper head band with a wire going to earth works for me Don't wear crocs in Worcester Hospital, the crack from touching handrails really stings. If I was younger it would be good for pranking but the static build up on my current pair is phenominal. Never had it on the previous pair or my new ones but I need one of these
