You know you are getting old when you watch the rugby on the tv and are thankful that you are watching on the tv and not sat there in the wet and the cold !! I love watching the rugby but you see so much more on TV than you do at the ground. The only thing that is better at the ground is the atmosphere

Whenever I go over to wales to watch a game in cardiff IT will always buy a good seat half way along and half way up the stadium so that I get the most out of the viewing. There are always the big screens there to that shows what people will see on tv,so best of both worlds. I do tend to put my red shirt over the top of my jacket nowadays though !! You are right about that atmosphere. I once bought a ticket for a friend who was not into rugby or sport at all and as it was a nice and expensive gest he reluctantly came along and was shocked at how amazing the energy was in the stadium and had to admit that he had loved it. I think he spent more time people watching and not those on the pitch, but he had a great time sso objective achieved !

you know you’re getting old when you buy one of these today, cos you remember how good they were. its so much better than the cheap crappy flimsy metal thing we got, that one will be going to charity shop tomorrow.

Our (woody) as he is now known, only cost £17.00 but I must say that “ minky “ is a far superior model to our crappy metal thing. also.... you know you’re getting old when you’re having conversations about clothes Airers , and starting to name them 👍

i remember a bloke on the old site who claimed to have made a wooden clothes horse just like the wooden one shown on here and the trouble he had working out the joints, cos he was young and had never seen one before claimed it as a first by himself. wanker
