News said they going to repatriate English peps from China, but they have to agree to go into isolation when they get here for two weeks. Are they going to decontaminate the plane as well. And if itβs already in France will they stop all ferry crossings. ?? They've got little idea what to do as we are in a nanny state. I may seem a bstard but if I was in charge I would have left the ex-pats there, they chose to live there and I'd have clamped all viable entries into the UK for the 'infected' with a serious quarrantine plan but there's one fact that's not being said and that's 'how bad is this bug'. That has a bearing on everything and the one thing is sure, if it's serious, the powers that be will never let on in case of public unrest.
The peeps across there being told by the twunts in the British arsehole embassy were told to make their own way home initially and to isolate themselves, luckily someone smelt the coffee.
It may be something minor, it may be the plague. It's a roll of the dice if shit is going to happen as there's no way that anyone can rely on the government. At least there's the satisfaction that there's no bunkers for the wankers to hide in whilst everyone else karks it if it does go that way.

This coronavirus will definitely come here at some point, either as a couple of infections, a hundred or so or some serious shit. Today I replenished my food cupboard with extra tin and dry stuff just in case there is a run on the shops in the near future and have the box food store full as well. If it does go tits up I won't have to go into town and if it doesn't everything was on offer and will get eaten in due course.
Might be an idea for all to get a little extra in just in case.

I cant go shopping,my van been kaput since August.Home delivery only option. Been stocking up for winter since summer so i can manage for a few months if the SHTF. Its alwayscsensible to stock up though, especially meds and vitamins as those would be the first to get low stock but no point going into full blown panic mode...non of us get out of here alive.
We still have no clue what Brexit will do for food supplies let alone any virus and winter hasnt gone yet.
I see the Chinese are spending 4 billion on measures to deal with it so its probably way out of control already. If it gets here and large numbers affected and with the guvmint numpties we have in charge it wont bode well but theyll probably be pleased they can get rid of a load of us plebs on the cheap and save on benefits.

They reckon 600 a year die in the UK following flu and there was 13,000 dead after it in 2008 and I don't recollect such fuss as what's happening in China when they've allegedly lost less than 200. Call me suspicious and stick a thermometer up my arse but there's something we're not being told and maybe never will be told IF they manage to control it. The world's problem is that too many pandas escaped before China bolted the door.

40,000+ people in uk die from cardiovascular disease a year. 168,000 have died in the last five years from the cold, 48000 last year alone. Any virus here has some way to go to look vaguely impressive.

About 6 thousand people die directly becaus of alcahol and 25 thousand from smoking in the uk and both of these are still sold to generate tax,so best thing to do for it not to become a problem in the uk is tax the virus !!

Dont give them ideas,we've still got Porton Down.
I dont buy the Chinese official figures. You dont put 50 million people in 15 cities under marshall law or build two hospitals from scratch in 6 days based on 7700 virus infections and 200 deaths over 30 days.
Infection rate has to be at least 10 times or probably 100+ times the official figures to warrant the panic measures theyre initiating.

Another thing, why haven't the World Health Organization declared it a global emergency unless it really is minor?
The biggest concern about this bug is that peeps can be infectious for such a long period before showing symptoms so there's no telling who's a carrier and they can have travelled worldwide by that time.

The WHO were contemplating declaring a global emergency three days ago based on mapping of the infection by hong kong epidemiologists who then projected at least 44k already infected. Since then things have got worse but only today has emergency declared.Other experts have suggested closer to 90k infected already.Whatever the real figures the Chinese govt are either talking shit or lying.

A populace of 1.4 billion. losing a few million would be nothing and as it's nationwide in a society of mixed levels it's impossible to calculate as many millions have been moving around just for the New Year but I'd guess 90k is very conservative.
The WHO has now echoed my earlier concerns on the bug hitting the third world. Whatever happens, it's as per usual, too little too late to stop it going global.
I'm trying to comprehend what's actually happening and coming as you don't quarantine measles, chickenpox etc, you stay at home but this one is a full boots and suits jobbie and isolation.
It's not just the Chinese who are lying.

The unknown factor should always put people on their guard. In this case, it sounds just like a bad dose of flu which picks off those with health problems. I've no recollection of ever seeing the lengths to which medics are going to apart from footage of the ebola outbreak which really is a shitnasty bug. I don't sit glued to the box so I may have missed it but there's been no real update on those who've had it and recovered.
We've now got two confirmed cases in the UK. Nothing said on who or where but as it takes up to a fortnight for symptoms to show, just how many people have been infected by those two? Maybe none but there's a shedload of backtracking their movements on top of the ongoing efforts to trace aircraft passengers who came in before China coughed that they had a problem.

Ive seen reports it was the University of Lancaster predicted 350k infected by February 4 and plenty of pics of Chinese trying to break out of quarantine zones.Every province of China has many cases.Clearly its spread far faster than they anticipated and causing more issues tgan theyre letting on. I dont think its the death rate thats particularly alarming if it comes here but more the havoc it will cause to an already over-stretched NHS. However if it mutates again into something more dangerous we will have sonething to worry about.

What about the poor folks across the world that live in poverty and shanty towns, already weakened due to poor diet and no health care, they wonβt stand a chance βΉοΈ
