Oh my days! Bizarrely it is so calm here just now that I've been stood in the garden watching the moon in my PJs this morning Hope it doesn't head down this way, all this weather is exhausting. I shall go and charge everything just in case the power goes off

The police will have a field day with Drunk in Charge. If, theoretically, you can be done when sitting in the back of your van (home) when drunk, there shouldn't be any problem getting the charge to stick if you're in the driving seat! You don't even need to be in your car/van and it doesn't have to be on the public highway. In charge means what it says. There was a famous case of a bloke fitting new speakers to his car on the drive of his house after a session at the pub. Police were called because of the noise and they nicked him for drunk in charge. The case went to court and he was found guilty. He appealed and lost. I remember that ... blooming ludicrous, ridiculous, level of stupid beyond getting ones head around ... the Constabulary and the courts are full of humans ... all various, some good some bad and everything in between ... I felt sad for that guy - who came up against a bad collection of possibilities ... hope he's o.k. wonder where he is now - just sending out big love. Thanks for the reminder ........

Blackpool Tower is on fire! yeah, wouldn't be a deliberate psyops event would it ... pick out a much loved landmark and scare the shit out of the populace ... ramp up the fear .............. whoever started that - will have to deal with their karma ... don't envy them ... almost feel sorry for them ...... must keep praying for a light in their darkness ...

No , its to horrible ... FFS Argh we had a nightmare with Specsavers as well! Ridiculous amount of money for a terrible pair of glasses, went to the independent place and got a perfect set of bins for £20. Specsavers lady got very cross with me during the test, she was saying "can you see the figure in the centre of the screen" and I kept saying no, because I couldn't see anything there. She kept asking, got very ratty when I kept saying no and eventually got a bit sarcastic saying "are you genuinely telling me you can't see the red number in the middle of the screen". Well the reason I couldn't see it is because I'm colourblind so I don't see red against certain backgrounds and the silly bint should have known that was the reason I couldn't see it. Daft cow. Yours sounds just as bad, Bungo!

Really well written article about Gaza and Israel. Just read it again and thought I'd post it here. 'As Israel proceeds towards its self-destruction, those who believe themselves to be its friends not only fail to stop it; they profess their unwavering, unconditional support for its campaign of mass murder. A true friend who understands the principle of national karma would counsel the opposite. A true friend would have said, on October 8, “You have a unique opportunity to break the cycle of hate. When you fly your bombing sorties over Gaza, fill the planes with pictures of the victims and the word, ‘Enough!’ And then lay your proposal for peace and justice before the world. Start with international peacekeepers and truth & reconciliation commissions. Look honestly at how you have contributed to the conditions that breed terrorism against you, and stop! Because if you unleash your vengeance, you will intensify those conditions a hundredfold. But if you make a move towards peace at this crucial moment when the whole world is watching, you will alter the course of history.”' Charles Eisenstein, 29 Dec 23. 👇 Friends Don’t Let Friends Destroy Themselves open.substack.com/pub/charleseisenstein/p/friends-dont-let-friends-destroy?In September 2001, in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, people gathered by the thousands across the
