Have to confess I've not been following the latest mediarse narrative ... so I can't follow the "thread" so well. All good business though ... it'll be great business for Blackrock when the re-building begins ... plenty of knock down prices and no populace left to argue about it - they'll just be so grateful for being allowed to stay alive, but the pain and the poison will be there for more generations to come. At 4000 dollars a set i doubt therell be a rush for them any time soon.Its a shame that a company that was founded by Steve Jobs on innovation and revolutionised personal communications has gone down this bizarre road of gimmicks just like Musk has. Wouldnt it be good if they started making small affordable personal transport like ebikes and scooters or affordable eco homes or investing in public transport instead of pointless rich-boy toys and ugly monster pickup trucks.

Its mostly about brand vanity though, like most of consumerism. Why would you spendover a 1000 dollars on the latest i phone when you an get a comparable or better phone for a third of the price. Entirely up to consumers what they spend their money on but it just demonstrates the massive lack of critical thinking or self awareness and what their greed is doing to the environment they inhabit while they indulge their egos and vanity.
Same with Musks massive e truck, why the the hell would anyone need one...or any other giant electric truck. 5 ton monstrosity to do your shopping at the mall ? People have lost their minds. How is it the majority of Japan population can do the exact same things in their lives as Americans using micro cars and tiny pickups. Its a mindset issue and one car and gadget manufacturers are happy to exploit.
