Theyve only a 25 yr shelf life so it was obvious they were going to need recycling at some point like batteries and other electronic goods. Whats unbelievable is no one apart from the French have addressed this issue. British attitude to most recycling is stick it on landfill or flog it to China or India where it gets dumped on landfill. Theres obviously a lot to be made from recycling and remanufacturing new panels but you wont see it happen in the UK, the UK is too short termist and quick buck oriented to bother. |

unfortunately quite a lot of the populace will see this as him being a "good egg" - who are being the bigger stupids, the Government or The People ... he's just a rich, nasty, self interested halfwit with too much power and zero integrity ..... like most politicians and "councillors" globally/locally ...... leading us all up the garden path. So many are so worn out dumbed down otherwise occupied with struggling to keep themselves and their families on the proscribed cosumerist/capitalist road - that they ain't got the Free Energy (sic) to ask any questions. Dunno what the answer is .... just putting one foot in front of the other and trying to work out if there are any small actions I can do ... rather than just criticise and despair .... it's tough tough tough ... but crisis AND opportunity.  |
