I heard the cuckoo today, a little late this year. I think I heard one too this week. I have still never in my life heard a cuckoo  And when I was little I didn't know they were real birds, I thought they were just invented for clocks  Lol |

I get that a lot of people are really in to the Royal Family and there's money made through tourism etc so I tend to just turn a blind eye. I find the amount of money they're spending on this pretty grotesque at any time but right now it just seems completely wrong. And shouting out allegiance - na, won't be happening here. Although I did think the whole thing was this weekend and I'd managed to avoid it but it turns out it's next weekend so I've still got dodging to do! |
