I have just been locked out of this bastion of respectability. I offended their community standards, apparently. 😁
Somebody posted on a thread about the band Foreigner, and named their track, "I wanna know what love is". I referenced this and answered with another track from the same album, "Dirty White Boy(s)".
I'm not sure in what way this violates anything, when violence, rabid racism and bigotry, beheadings and other horrific cruelty are apparently fine.
Ah well, I am more of a nasty pasty than i realised. Or possibly the community doesn't like Foreigner.😂

You? But you are ordained! How can one of spiritual values be banned?

I know Vannie. I have sinned. 10 Our Fathers and 20 Hail Marys for me.
Alternatively I could say, Fuck you, farceache. 😁
Don't lay heavy bets on me choosing the first option.

Facebooks community standards vary according to who is moderating basically. A friend of mine, an actor and writer, has been banned at least 7 times for 30 days for posting gay articles, pictures of men in swimwear or Michaelangelo nudes...yet you can find loads of pages with topless and nude women and nasty right wing poison. Another friend got banned for posting a photo of him kissing his male partner at their wedding anniversary dinner....yes you guessed it,violates our community standards.
Ok for fakebook to act completely without morals whatsoever though and justify it as in their commercial interests.

Corvus,
Couldn't have put it better. They're a degenerate shower of shit who are just spying on you in the background.

One weekend some corporate drones from agri-chemical companies were on posing on various FB groups waste of money organic certified food is. I replied that most breakfast cereals are also a waste of money. Many groups I was removed from with my comment.I think it was not FB itself but agri-chemical corporate drones hacking FB groups. One of then I did get back on to as I got someone from the other place to ask on my behalf. The mod knew nothing about me being removed from the group.
I guess agri-chemical companies have in indirect interest in people continuing ti buy breakfast cereals.

Most of the special interest groups are infiltrated by lobbyists.Theres non of them free from political or corporate lobbyists or 'enablers' as far as im concerned. The Tory party here has admitted it has an army of people working on its behalf in social media as i expect have all the other parties...all spinning their lies. Its not difficult for anyone to work.themselves into a position on a farcebook group where theyre appointed an admin then they can delete and appoint who they like. Same goes for most influential social media, nothing is real anymore, its spin and lies for one agenda or another. But for having friends around the world i speak to on farcebook i wouldnt be on there. Ive been evaluating a lot of my social media recently most of which im dumping. I deleted my entire flikr account a few days ago and 3 forums im was on...other things will follow.

TBH I don't really do faceache. I am a member but don't post and certainly don't accept 'friend' requests from people I don't know.

Open groups on farcebook are a prime target for spammers and scammers and best avoided.

Then again farcebook is best avoided.Certainly wouldnt join it if i was new to social media and most youngsters are deserting it for better sites.Facebook will be the new MySpace, remember that? Murdoch bought it and it sank almost without a trace.

I had already heard that faceache was becoming unfashionable due to the high number of parents on it. That's the first bad sign.

Not just parents watching kids but employers spying on employees and fake news and product marketers manipulating people and facebook spying on everyone. I think the facebook bubble is about to burst.

I have a farcebook account i use for keeping in touch with friends that live in different parts of the country , but it seems lots of people use it just to argue about trivia.
