Today I learnt , I've lost over a stone in weight in 6 weeks. And I'm rubbish with technology. And not to leave my dog for twenty minutes, it's amazing how much damage she can do in that time, she's cost me £160.

I learned more stuff about bee keeping in a sympathetic way to the bees rather than the restraints of convention and how 'organic' honey might not be truely organic. I get an hour lesson ever 6 weeks, and its like grasshopper and the master in the TV show KungFu . I am very long way from getting bees yet .

How can there be non organic honey? Is it the pesticides and other agri chemicals bees come into contact with? It's not like you would be giving bees antibiotics is it?

Some organic honey producers use fungicides on the hives apparently it kills also some fungi that the bees produce naturally that protects them from viruses , it was pretty above my head , but that is how I understood it. You are also right about the stuff they come into contact with . I got a bit lost TBH because my friend was saying something about the mixing of special spit they use after the pollen had been removed from the gathers and is done by the ones that convert it to honey . It was very early too this morning . Cell size was discussed too, I have been getting the classes for several years now . A lot is sinking in , my friend started keeping bees only about 5 years ago ,self taught/you tube but he has 13 hives now and I think he knows what he is talking about I am defo mot ready yet I am waiting for the real 'Ma' to retire ,then she can do it .

What I learnt last wednesday night was it was not the pipes in the ceiling causing water to piss down on the kitchen floor after I had made the holes . It was the cistern in the toilet leaking . Today I will learn how to fix it !
