This has just happened to me.
The birds are in bed, and quiet for the night. I'm upstairs playing on this tablet. Dolly starts screaming.I give him a minute to see if he'll shut up, but he sounds really distressed, so I go downstairs to see what's up.
In the middle of the kitchen floor, is a magpie feather.
No Corbies have been in residence since Jinsy Rook last year.
No magpies for at least a decade.
I'm not sure what I think about this. I've always considered magpies my totem animal.

Funny,I was only thinking about your magpie feather and that lead me to thinking its time i got to making some dream-catchers again,today decided that i need to get a lot of fresh feathers for them as the bag ive got needs refreshing.Went a walk this evening amd a mass of lovely pheasant feathers on the grass verge so ive wombled them...and found a magpie feather too.  |

More weirdness. I keep my wetsuit in my bus. I've had it a long while, and was concerned at Dovedale that it would be too small for me as I have got very fat since I last wore it. My wetsuit is a full one, which I wore when I did triathlons, many moons back.
When I put it on at DD, it was not only a big one, loose on me, but was also a shorty. Short arms, short legs.
I have no idea where my original has gone, and less idea still where this one has come from. Not that I am complaining as it is easy to get on and off.😁

Nothing comes to mind at this moment but have had odd things happen in the past, unexplainable things.. most recent was when mum was in her very final hours I saw two golden whisps of light on two separate moments within that time, then twice at home in my kitchen after she had gone..

Actually came up on my memories on FB today.. my friend and I sat at my kitchen table and suddenly there were three knocks on wood.. knock.. knock .. knock.. we both looked at each other and said, was that you lol.. and it was neither of us.. we wobbled the table, the chairs and anything else that might make that kinda noise.. but nope.. noone was home next door either.. we had no idea!!!
