Used to be another burger and an egg on it! Same amount of chips, the worlds smallest bowl of coleslaw, and its actully on a plate again under that bit of paper. No salad now either...
Oh and the chips are double fried! A mark of quality indeed. Fried once as a batch and then refried when you order them, brilliant...

Yes they look like 'old' chips, like the ones dragged out of the back of the chip frier in chip shop end of batch. The trouble is youve got PSCs everywhere now telling people how to maximise profit, factor in 'added value' (to the retailer not consumer)and reduce quantity and quality to the minimum they can get away with. If im paying for a meal I want some substance to it not have to call in to the chip shop afterwards because im still hungry...done that a few times so i dont eat out now unless someones insisting on paying for me.

We were out and about a few weeks ago, visiting daughter and son in law.Decided to have a late lunch/early dinner so opted for a roast at the local pub.It was nice enough, but for the 4 of us @ £6.95 each, plus desserts @ £3.95 each + drinks, thats an expensive roast! Its not hard to knock something like that up at home, and far cheaper too.

Got my vote... nothing worse than paying to eat out then diving in the breadbin when you get home! Rather pay a bit extra for the large meal.

I thought the best trick was go for a burger before eating out, specially if it was Neuvelle Cuisine. Remember that? Two peas, a lettuce leaf and a swirl of dressing called a salad?
