Try one of these for a ticket IF the cinema is participating in the scheme. www.ceacard.co.uk/#main-contentThere's a whole raft of discounts family carers can access but I don't believe it works for 'paid' peeps as I assume it's something that's claimed back on tax.

What's the film anyway? 😇 Mama mia 2 xx Thats a shame.I had to sit through an horrendous "Barberella" screening with a client once but I think my employer paid for all expenses like that. They also expected us,the support staff ,to be frugal with our meals out, but we were reimbursed with our pay.its still a habit to keep receipts for everything years later. Its an interesting discussion as all carers get in the same situation at some point.I know meals in the clients home were not expected to be paid for,but that helped boost a meagre pay packet.I did get an all in holiday at Pontins supporting a client once.I never got over that.

Nope. How rude. You shouldn't pay. If you have to go outside for anything (swimming, cinema, coffee, lunch etc.) she should pay, including transport and fuel costs. We use her disability car so travels not a prob xx
