So a long time ago,I had a baby,a son.Due to circumstances,I decided to have the baby adopted when I was 5 mths pregnant.Years later,I re united with my son,who is now 35yrs old! We've been in contact for a long time (Since he was 18)and met several times, skype eachother ect. We've developed a pretty close r/ship during this time. Over the years, its been suggested by his parents that we meet up.Well last night it happened! They're over here from Australia for a longish holiday. It was abit of a surreal experience.I had decided before meeting that I did'nt want to discuss the adoption and how I felt about it.For me,its in the past, and I tend to live more in the present. However my son's Mum I think needed to talk about it so we did.I was fine, she became pretty teary, but in all it was a good meeting. They're real nice folks, totally what I expected too.Hopefully before they head back home,we'll meet up again.I had my own hesitations of meeting, and had to give it quite alot of deep thought before I decided to go ahead with it.Sometimes you have to put your own needs behind someone else's,and I'm glad I did.

Thanks BB!Figured I'd have a change, hoping the weather will heat up!lol After they adopted my son, they went on to have their own son 5 yrs later! He lives in the UK,so I think they're struggling with it a little which is understandable.
