A comment from a YouTube vid about the woke

I spent many years knocking around on the U.K. traveller scene (what people used to call new age travellers). I lived in my van, on the road or on traveller sites and squats. Once upon a time, the traveller scene may have been a legit counter culture movement. That’s why Thatcher smashed them at The Beanfields, and years later the Tories passed the criminal justice act, and other legislation to further criminalize their lifestyle. Those days are long gone. I turned my back on that world, because almost everyone in it is HORRIFYINGLY woke. And when I say horrifyingly, I mean they’re the sort of idiots that’ll run around with BLM pulling down statues. In fact some of my former “friends” were actually involved in that Colston business in Bristol. Some of them are even active members of Antifa. Almost everyone I know from that world is a die hard Remainer, with rabid Trump derangement syndrome, Corbynite, climate change hysteric, I stand with Ukraine type. I could go on. When the lockdown happened, the second shit got real they were all like “Lock me down harder daddy!” and “OMG! Just wear a mask!”, and wasted no time in going on Facebook and daemonizing anyone who called bullshit on it a “Far-Right conspiracy theorist”. Most nauseating of all, is that everyone on that scene honestly thinks they’re in The Resistance, and sees themselves as an edgy counter culture rebel. Engaging in pseudo-anti-establishment posturing, while being firmly on the side of the establishment on almost every issue. Fakes, frauds, cardboard cut-out cunts. Every single one of them.
