Happy Samhain

It's proper Samhain weather out tonight; dark, wet, windy. I'm looking forwards to taking the dogs out later - I won't see anyone and hopefully there will be no cars on the lane.

Up the hill the wind sounds like a train rushing towards you, and when I walk past the rookery I have to hope that none of the local corbies shout out in the night. Usually this does not bother me, but Samhain? Makes me and the dogs run home. 😂
