I don't think that I have had it. If I have, I was completely without symptoms. Hope you feel better soon mallyboppa

Really sorry to hear this MB. My son and his family had it last year when it was first noticed and they were very, very sick. Look after yourself and don't try and get back on your feet before you are ready. About six weeks after my son thought he was over it, he got pneumonia.
Stay home, stay in bed and if you have anyone to keep an eye on you and make sure that you have hot drinks and whatever, make full use of them.

I've read that vitamin d,c and zinc help also aspirin because it thins the blood and can help prevent clotting . Had this article cut and pasted in my mailbox.Dont know how true it is but can't do you any harm. Hope you're well soon. " The engineered spike proteins from SARS-CoV-2 may be STOPPED by a common “weed” that is exterminated from lawns every year. A German university study found that the common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) can block spike proteins from binding to the ACE2 cell surface receptors in human lung and kidney cells. The water-based dandelion extract, taken from the plant’s dried leaves, was effective against spike protein D614 and a host of mutant strains, including D614G, N501Y, K417N and E484K." www.naturalnews.com/2021-06-28-dandelion-leaf-extract-blocks-spike-proteins-binding-to-ace2-receptor.html

As lika says, aspirin is probably better suited than paracetamol, unless you have any kind of stomach condition. Can't do any harm to get tucked into a few dandelion leaves, either. Lemon juice contains vitamin C, and with a little honey dissolved in warm water is helpful with the cough.
I don't know whether it helps any if you already have covid, but as a sort of preventive measure I take a couple of teaspoons of cod liver oil every day, just like when I was a kid. Contains vitamins A, D, and E, all of which help the immune system.
How soon you feel better seems to be an individual thing. My friend had it, but it didn't put him out of action more than about a week. He said it felt like a very nasty 'flu; he didn't want to do anything, and just sat around coughing and with a headache, when he managed to get out of bed. Then after about a week it seemed to vanish quickly, within two days, but he still had to isolate, of course.
All the best with it, and keep us all updated on how you are getting on.

Cheers for that it gives me hope ! at the mo isolating is the least of my worries as going outdoors is the last thing on my mind but feeling better after "about a week " gives me something to aim for as I am not a patient errr Patient !!
