Altior the 2 mile champion chaser has been retired today. I am chuffed , I love watching him race but he's 11 now and has lost a couple of his last races. He won 19 on the trot, he never fell and good on his owners retiring him intact ,healthy and happy ,and not been greedy bastards. You could tell he hated being beaten and it hurt his heart.
My push bike is named Altior and he's good and steady over the jumps - curbs and a fast finisher.
Altior is off to live with Mick and Chloe Fitzgerald who say he'll have a grand , happy retirement
