I'm struggling right now with one of my good friends.She's an aussie and we go way back!Ok abit of background info.....She was with a guy called Dave years ago,never married,but they have 3 kids.He left her high and dry,and she did'nt see him for years.He did'nt support their kids.Years later he re surfaces,he's now with someone else,who has a child with him.They decide to start a business selling aboriginal artwork (Buying it as cheap as from the natives)and re selling it to Europeans for big money.My friend was disgusted by this,and would discuss it with me quite often......
Fast forward 15 yrs.....Dave is now divorced,my friend is now married to him!!!I did'nt even know she was in a r/ship with the guy! They moved interstate,away from the kids.She had trained as a Naturopath,not sure what Dave works as.
I've just seen a new pic of them both on Facebook.She looks nothing like she used to.The friend I knew,wore hippy clothes,was skinny,no makeup,tribal type jewellery.The latest pic shows her with full makeup,wearing posh gold jewellery,a stylish top,longish skirt with tights and court shoes?I know you'll all say....people do change as they get older,and yes they do,but to that degree?She's completely changed.Over the last 2 years,her pics are always of her looked dolled up to the nine's,full makeup etc and it just does'nt look like her.She does'nt look like the person I used to know.I'm still me.I might look older,but I still hold the same value's,living as alternatively as poss atm.She's heading over to the UK soon,and has asked to meet up.Not sure if I really want to now tbh,and she'll have Dave with her too.
