What a shower Yodel are. I bought a pump tap off ebay. I usually pick click and collect but the seller didn't offer it. So I took a chance and let it come to the yard. Basically, my delivery was one of 136, so the "delivery imminent" email said. I live in a rural location. Anything is a long way from anything. I don't have neighbours off the land nearby. My post box is on the gate to the land, it's a five minute walk down the track. You know where this is going. The first tap arrived two days early and I wasn't looking for it or an email, so I only noticed it two days later, when I expected it. Apparently it had been delivered. Errr no it hasn't. Oh yes it has, to xxx Hill, not my address. I contacted the seller, who was nice and helpful, kept in touch. Just as I was about to ask for a refund, the parcel turned up, with a handwritten note saying it wasn't for them, and asking the Royal Mail postie to drop it off! All the time, Yodel insisted they had delivered it to me. In my madness, I decided instead I wanted a rechargeable electric pump tap. Again the seller didn't offer Click and Collect so again I had to risk it getting to the yard. Well somebody up there doesn't like me, and once again Yodel has left my parcel at some other address. Again they insist that it's been delivered. The post box they put it on had a number on it, mine doesn't. NEVER USE YODEL!!

No end of hassle from Yodel here. They usually take a photo of someone else's door, then take my parcel away. I revved up fuck on the Selby office a while ago, but they still can't fucking find my house. Now I try to meet hem in the street, or better still not buy anything that says Yodel will deliver....

bigbear67 that's what they did to me. Took a pic (which I never got to see) of a postbox with a number on it. My postbox doesn't have a number. I would be happy to collect, instead of them making it up.

That is a pain, Vannie, hope you get it sorted. I wonder whose postbox they're leaving it in? We've been so lucky with delivery drivers, I think only one thing delivered to the wrong address but it was on our road so I was able to get it. I'm not sure if any of them are Yodel, though, I'll have to check I hope you get what you ordered eventually x

Apparently Hermes in this area has one driver who has one route. He knows where we are and we get deliveries through him. But that's Hermes. Yodel seem to have badly trained idiots or drivers that are so stressed from overwork they dump parcels at the first opportunity and call it delivered.

I just spoke to Yodel again. They are giving the previous story of delivering to a street name that doesn't exist around here. After being told this, they admitted they don't know where the parcel is.

I bought something else off ebay. To avoid the trouble I had before, I selected Click and Collect, to be delivered to Argos at Sainsbury's. This time it was HERMES. They said I wasn't in!! No shit, I don't live in Argos. They are going to try again tomorrow. WTF do I have to do to get these brain donors to deliver?? Oh and you just can't speak to a human. Not on the phone or on the Webchat. The Webchat "contact Me" button doesn't work, on two devices!!

Yodel have done it again. I had to order a longer pipe for the tap, and was dismayed in seeing Yodel would (attempt) to deliver it. So today I got an email saying it had been delivered. I went off up the lane to our postbox. Nothing. Earlier I noticed on Yodel's website that their phones are down, so I selected Webchat. There were the usual suggestions that I ask if the neighbours had it, look under the bin ect. They are going to get back to me....

Some of these couriers seem to have a strange habit of leaving parcels behind bins, it is not great, especially if it is raining out and it is a valuable item.
Makes me wonder if it is part of their training, a bin based training module which teaches them to rely on people's smelly bins to get their load delivered.

They need to sort the employment laws out on that, classing them as self employed is just licence for exploitation.

And lots more besides.
Like a minimum wage that actually affords people a realistic chance at living a comfortable life for starters....
.... Human Life is a very sick joke
and becoming more sick and overpopulated and land starved by the second....
And still we acquiesce...
