I've written before, bored people with my experience at Callanish, how I wanted to go there and when I finally made it years ago, I was too afraid to enter the circle. A couple of decades have passed since then and I have half talked myself into thinking I made up the feeling, that it wasn't really as bad as I remember.
Tonight though, as I was trying to navigate twatter so that I could contact Livvie, a Scottish tourist video came up. Only maybe 10 seconds long I watched a camera panning over some stones in the moonlight and nearly threw up, the fear was so strong.
I've just taken the dogs out to get some fresh air in my lungs and calm down. I really don't want to know what happened to me there in a previous life. I have no doubt something did though.

I didn't take it as sarcasm, Vannie. I just tried to look at the video again, thinking of I was not caught by surprise I could cope.
Nope.clicked off 2 seconds in, my heart is still pounding. I always wanted to live in Lewis but that circle would stop me, even if I had the chance.

I used to get a strong calling to go there back when I was studying up on energies and had a good connection to universal energies and concentrated very much on that. There has always been quite a pull for me to go and it felt more like it needed me to go more than I needed to go. The feeling waned eventually and to be honest I have not thought of the site in years, Whatever the reason was it was meant to be at a certain time and that time has passed.
I had some great and strange experiences at some of the other important sites including throwing up the moment I entered a circle on bodmin moor which was just my spiritual system re-alligning and chucking out a blockage, but never ever felt that sort of fear Maggie.
It sounds like that you have some unfinished business up there that will only be dealt with by you being courageous enough to sort it out. Chances are it will happen and you will have no idea that it has happened and that feeling will go and serenity will replace it.
Whether or not that is a past life experience or just something that you have a calling to do in this life I can not tell you,but to receive thatsort of energy to me sounds like you have been lucky to receive it and have some sort of calling, but may never find out why.
Maybe try meditating on it in another sacred site and see if you can open the connection from there, that maysave you fuel and stress costs. Sounds like a cool mission to me and am quite jealous as have not had (or maybe needed) that sort of connection for a long time.
There are many tools out there to help get us into certain places. Maybe try the simple use of a crystal mandala or a stargate, or ifd you are lucky enough to know of ones presence maybe try spending time near a crystal skull. In fact writing this reminds me of a few skull experiences of friends who had similar feelings to yourself when near them. I was fine but knew that there was a very strong energy swirling around its company.
If a connection is that strong then there is generally something that needs sorting out.
Good luck in getting it done and do not be afraid as whatever it is will not harm you as the flow of energy is not there for that as far as I know !!

Nah. I'm not lacking in courage Fly, and if I were local I would do something about it. I have no real way to get to Lewis though, even before covid came along.
