hi everyone. i'm a birkenhead boy living in asia, with no flights available. i would like to find a way up the welsh mountains in a van. i know there are groups of likeminded people. i reckon i have a two year, three year tops window. im ok with a guitar and i used to love fishing as a boy. i hope im in the right forum. rockerbear

thanks for the welcome. im not in uk right now and i cant do much about that. ive been teaching in thailand for 20 years. i have paid into our system long enough to qualify for 90% of the national pension in less than a year and a half. i would like to live somewhere at high altitude with a water supply and a place where i can get guitar strings. if i am in the wrong forum, i apologize.

Wishing you warm welcomes to the forum monsieur Rockerbear. I look forward to reading about your oversea's travels,as with being a bit of a traveller myself it is a subject that I enjoy reading about.
I have spent all my adult life travelling in vehicles and living in yurts and understand completely your want to go and park up in the mountains.
With regards to Birkenhead,I saw a few great gigs in the stairways in the eighties :-)
