Today between shed repair I went to adjust mates gears over garage. Tested it told him all ok bar gear changer missing a click sometime. He said right off on facebook it goes, did not make it, its mine now. Only done 30 miles and has a Deore groupset suspenion seat post that actually works 3x9 gears, 700c wheels really good condition for £100 saves me doing up my other one so quickly which is a raleigh mtb with fair bit of work as I lent the other 2 bikes out to nextdoor and her daughter so they can exercise as they do half marathons but cannot at present. I can now follow Yolanda on her electric tricycle easier. Its a Carrera Crossfire may even keep I fit

Great looking bike m, got my boy a careers earlier this year, yours looks a bargain at 100 quid.....

I got a Carrera racing bike too,my neighbour couldnt cope with it (too harsh for his arse apparently) so swapped him a Dawes cross citybike i paid 10 quid for, for the Carrera Vituoso LE.
Im no fan of Halfords or their bikes but Carrera are decent bikes for the money...enjoy your new toy.

I think so BB I not had a new bike in years means in this weather I can put the old one I was going to get going back in shed and look at it in cooler weather. Was going to ride to shop but to hot will take scooter today. |

A person I know is a manager on the bike side he had a really good rep when worked for himself but loads of bikes that I train kids on in schools come with there new Halfords bike needing things done before we can train them like forks wrong way round. |

Ive never bought a bike from them nor would I. All my racers were hand built by specialists though using Italian components Campag mostly as i did semi pro road racing for years. Ive built a few bikes myself ive several here but mosly mountain bikes,the carrera I have isnt a bad bike though...ill give it that.
